As an undergraduate, I had the opportunity to study the morphological traits of Monardella (Lamiaceae) through the use of the light and scanning electron microscopes, which effectively sparked my interest in the plant sciences. That interest grew to become a passion, one of which I hope to leave a legacy.

Currently, I am a graduate assistant at the University of the Pacific specializing in biological research and science. I hold a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a B.A. Religious Studies

My research interests include:

  • Plant Systematics (Lamiaceae – Monardella; Onagraceae – Clarkia)
  • Ecology
  • Water Quality of the San Joaquin River
  • Herbarium Reorganization

I love spending time with my parents, little sister and extended family. I am also interested in cycling.
