Molly became a teacher in 2013 after graduating from the University of Washington, Teach for America, and receiving her MSE from CUNY Brooklyn College. Molly is currently teaching Special Education in Lake Stevens School District and helping to build Secondary ALE programs for the district. She loves giving back in the community and actively supports BIPOC, LGBTQ+, at risk youth, and students with disabilities.

In the past, Molly has cotaught 3rd to 11th grade level math (primarily Geometry and Algebra), Earth Science, Basic programming, English, Social Studies, Study Skills, Behavior, Reading Support, and Sustainability. She was also a teacher and Tech Coordinator in New York City at Brooklyn Urban Garden School. Her prior business related experience includes founding Seattle's Women In Tech (WiT) nonprofit, community engagement in the Seattle startup community, marketing at a Fortune 500, and managing large scale events with over 40,000 attendees.

Molly is passionate about STEAM, social justice, sustainability, and service. She enjoys spending her free time with her son Ben, husband Ryan, ragdoll Lincoln, rescue mutt Ellie, playing trumpet in the LS Community Band, attending live performances, cosplaying, reading fantasy or science fiction, and watching too many movies.

Molly is always wandering, near & far.
