A few things you should know about me: I'm a mom, a volunteer, and an author. I believe The Green Bay Packers, coffee, pinot noir, and Rick Springfield's music are proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. I sold my first book, "Dream in Color" based on a chance meeting at a chocolate fountain. I have been writing since I was fourteen and I wrote the first words to what would ultimately become my second novel, "Lies in Chance." I currently have three novels and a novella published under my name and two office humor books under the name Sarah Jayne Brewster.

I dream of a world where semi literate starlettes are not invited to open their mouths or publish a book and where authors with unknown names are rewarded for their endless quest to give the reading public a new, original, story. I support e-publishing. Save the trees! Buy digital books!

A serious accident in 2012 destroyed my car, broke my body, and opened my eyes. Life is short. We need to surround ourselves with those we love. We need to find our passions and follow them.

My passions are my family and my writing. I've begun the seedling of what will one day be a publishing haven for new authors, I hope, and I'm calling it SJB Books.

My ultimate goal is to one day support myself and my family with my writing. For now, I continue to earn a paycheck working at a desk that is not my own, dreaming of a day when I can focus on plot and character more than paper and filing.
