Mark is a global enterprise technology leader with a passion for building strategic partnerships and helping organizations transform through the power of AI.
His career began during the early days of the dot-com boom, guiding companies through their first steps into the digital era. He has worked in the UK, Germany, and Singapore, and joined IBM in 2003 through the acquisition of an Australian web start-up. He has held a variety of senior roles across sales, technical leadership, and service delivery in both Europe and Asia.
Today, Mark leads IBM’s AI & Data Ecosystem business across EMEA, where he shapes innovation through strategic channel partnerships and supports enterprises on their AI transformation journeys.
Outside of work, Mark’s world is divided (not equally!)—between his extended family, a lively dog, and an enduring love of science fiction. A devoted fan of Star Trek and Douglas Adams, he’s particularly intrigued by the accelerating convergence of science fiction and reality.
