For more than 20 years John Palumbo has been developing innovative products, ideas and campaigns for everyone from Fortune 500 companies...to start-ups...to local organizations. In fact, he is credited with inventing the iconic "pop-up store" approach, which he conceived when launching the Nintendo Game Cube back in 2001. His opinions, work and approaches have been featured in Advertising Age, Fast Company, Forbes, Investor's Business Daily, The New York Times, Psychology Today, The Wall Street Journal and a host of other national, local and trade media outlets.

In 2006, John helped to pioneer the (now mainstream) open innovation and crowdsourcing movements when he founded BigHeads Network -- a brain trust made up of a collection of creative minds and experts who he brings to brands, companies and organizations to foster creativity.

He is the author of Brand Opening, a book about how brands can use open innovation principles to create BIG ideas. He also speaks regularly at companies, universities and conferences about his methods for disrupting the status quo to drive innovation.

John holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Psychology from Syracuse University. He currently resides in Hoboken, NJ.
