It goes a little like this: After graduating from college with a B.A. in Theatre & English, I found myself startlingly unemployable, and so started my career delivering Chinese and working at Red Lobster. Fortunately, I had married the lovely and engaging Jennifer and our fervent love carried the day. This was 1991. Ages ago...

Eventually, we moved to Dallas and I worked for a variety of employers in a variety of tasks, but which began to center around graphic design and writing. When we discovered that our small two-person family was expanding to three, we made a plan... but ended up moving to St. Louis instead, near to both of our families (but not too near)... and here we are still.

I've migrated to designing & building web sites (15+ years now... gratuitous portfolio link: perpendicularparallels.com), and when I'm not working, I've coached a little sport, led a few boy scouts, and doodled/read/embarrassed my spouse/talk at length about movies. And the family has grown: Two marvelous kids, two mostly-affectionate cats... and our newest addition (sigh) a dog.

Not nearly as flatulent as the children say.
