GETTING OUT THE MESSAGE
Annually, the Cowboys have a Thanksgiving outreach event with the Salvation Army. In 2013, I covered the event for The Landry Hat, and the NFLPA used it on their community page.
Cowboys Vice President Stephen Jones said on 105.3 The Fan that his family hadn't done enough to help QB Tony Romo win a championship. I reported it. Hours later, ProFootballTalk, NFL.com, SportsIllustrated.com linked to my article, and it became news.
I once interviewed Roger Staubach, and he remarked Tom Landry maybe did a little too much. The Dallas Morning News cited my work.
