Michael Sitarzewski
Web Developer, Father, and Student in Dallas, Texas
I’m a veteran entrepreneur with a specific focus on web based software and services. My internet startup career started in 1994 by co-founding an internet apartment search product, and continues today with Epic Playground, Inc - a TechStars Cloud 2012 company - and Launch DFW
inboundgeo is a patent pending offline retargeting service designed exclusively for luxury brands. It offers a “serendipitous” second sales opportunity by discovering the physical mailing address of an anonymous website visitor, and sending a hand crafted postcard to that address. This happens daily, and automatically.
Launch DFW is Dallas/Fort Worth’s seed and early stage startup news and information source. It’s purpose is to provide a home for people building and working on startups.
I'm heavily involved in the Dallas, Texas startup community, building on the lessons from the Boulder and Denver community – where I lived from 2006 to 2013. I’m the EIR for The DEC, a mentor for REVTECH, and run #BigDOCC every Tuesday morning in downtown Dallas. I brought Dallas New Tech, and House of Genius to Dallas. I've organized/participated in hundreds of events in the last year.
I designed Peer to Peer for America to gain, and retain control over our lives, our families, and our community.
I designed Dignity Field to solve unaddressed issues in the homeless continuum of care. The focus today is "housing first," but we’re social creatures. Dignity Field is a consolidated “community first” approach that could leverage 350 acres on an air field.
FACT: I’ve been to every stop on the DART Rail system.
