Kelly Campbell

Charlotte, NC

At the age of 27, inspired by Robert Kiyasaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad, Kelly Campbell decided to become a real estate investor, choosing the niche “Rehabbing” to begin her career. After reading Kiyosaki’s book, she quickly realized that while her corporate job might pay her bills, it was not going to lead her down the road to financial freedom. With a leap of faith, Kelly took her entire savings, all of $5,000 and leveraged her credit for a construction loan to purchase her first investment property. She made $10,000 and she could not turn back. Her mind had expanded and was forever changed. Kelly began investing on a part-time basis and managed to build a profitable cash-in-hand business, generating more profit than most investors do working in real estate full-time.

Midway through her career, while she was hard at work rehabbing houses, her body started to fall apart. Kelly was diagnosed with Lupus and began another kind of journey. Frustrated with doctors providing limited options, zero hope and only one tool at their disposal (the Physician’s desk reference), Kelly took a look at the medications lining her counter and decided to apply the same tools she used to rehab houses, and focus on rehabbing herself. Now a healthy, energetic triathlete, with a strong knowledge of nutrition and certified as a health coach, Kelly guides women, the primary group suffering from Lupus and Fibromyalgia, to advocate for their health and passionately pursue a better quality of life with nutrition. She believes that when your body is healthy it gives you power in all areas of your life.

Experiencing a health crisis also gave Kelly a sense of urgency regarding financial freedom and helping others see that there is not a day to waste when you have a dream in your heart and the life you have is not the one you see when you close your eyes at night. Having presented hundreds of continuing education courses to architects spreading awareness of industry developments in construction, Ms. Campbell embraced her gifts as a speaker and developed an introductory rehab investment training program geared towards encouraging women to pursue wealth. Ms. Campbell has built a solid reputation in the architectural and real estate investment communities as a public speaker and trainer with the courses provided by her company, Real Rehab Talk, co-founded with Cecelia Bell.
