Hi, I’m Muhammed. I'm a film curator, programmer, critic, and sales professional based in Mumbai. I am passionate about cinema, art, politics, human rights, sexuality and social justice.

I have programmed for the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival for 4 years. I am open to work opportunities in film curation, programming, festival strategy, content development, sales, acquisition and distribution. I'm an expert in tracking international film festivals and markets. My specialities include world cinema, Indian independent cinema, as well as genre and experimental cinema. As a critic, I have written for the The Quint and The Hindu among others.

I write mostly about film and internet culture with a focus on the intersections of the personal and political. I have a preference for the absurd, surreal and avant-garde. I enjoy alternative, hip-hop, electronic and indie music.
