Dr. Lawson Murray

Lawson's passion is Jesus. He is homo unius libri (a man of one book). His purpose in life is to cultivate growth. During the past forty years, his activities include teaching, child evangelism, college chaplaincy, instructing outdoor pursuits, camp ministry, sports coaching, sports ministry, itinerant preaching, church planting, pastoring, children's and family ministry, Bible engagement advocacy, international conference speaking and training, and writing. Lawson was born in England, grew up in South Africa, and lives in Canada. He's married to his best friend, Karen. Their three children are married. They have eleven grandchildren. Lawson loves walking, reading, and doing things with his family. Lawson joined the Scripture Union Canada staff in September 2010. He enthusiastically invites people of all ages to connect with Jesus and His Story.
