Hi! My name is Jasmine (Jazzie for short) and I am currently only 17 years old, living in a small town in the UK called Bury St Edmunds. Like most people nowadays I have a number of animals that I live with and absolutely love and adore. Two are technically my brother's as they were his present for Christmas 2014, but I still live with them so I think it counts. Two more of them are my dogs, one called Tazzle, who is male, and one called Daisy, who is female, and they are my babies. They are a mix breed of Labrador and Springer-spaniel and Daisy is chocolate with a small white patch on her chest, while Tazzle is black with a white patch in the same place. I have four more animals and they are a mix of adorable cats called Kirby, Budsta (original name, I know), Mitsy and Moto and they are so gorgeous. Budsta is the only male out of the cats and is a gorgeous ebony colour all over. Kirby is the youngest and is the cutest cat I have ever seen, with huge green eyes and pointy ears. She always meows when she comes in to the room to greet us and make sure we know she is there. Mitsy and Moto are sisters but have completely different personalities. Mitsy likes to socialise with everyone and everything and lounges around downstairs all day, whereas Moto hides away upstairs from the other animals to have some peace and quiet. I also have another cat that lives at my dad's as she could not cope with the other animals, but she loves the human company.

My love for my animals is probably what created my love for all animals, whatever shape and size (apart from scorpions and wasps because damn they scare me). It is this love for animals that has inspired me to do as much as I possibly can to change the cruel laws that still exist in the 21st century but has no place to do so. The number of petitions I have signed to try and make a difference is unbelievable, however I have got to the point now where that just is not enough. I want to go further, do more for all of those animals out there that I just know are suffering and cannot do anything because man is just more powerful with all of their weapons and traps. My aim is to change laws and lives and just be more involved in the rescuing of animals that are kept in horrendous conditions and treated in awful ways.
