I have lived in many countries and as a result I have never been wedded to an idea of a base. To me, life is about meeting people and having experiences that bring new understandings and enhance perspectives. I am at my happiest when I am exploring new frontiers.

As a friend once said, "The islands of prosperity will be drowned by the oceans of poverty" unless we do something about it. I am focused on education and believe that it is our most powerful weapon in turning the tide. Educating one child at a time!
