Nádia Fernandes

I am a junior researcher at LaSIGE (Large-Scale Informatics Systems Laboratory) and soon a Ph.D. student at Faculdade de Ciências at the University of Lisbon.

My research interests are towards Accessibility (specifically on Web Accessibility evaluation and cognitive disabilies), human computer interaction, usability, large scale universal usability studies, Mobile Web and interactive computer graphics.

Currently, I'm involved in an EU funded project called ASSESSIBLE (Accessibility Assessment Simulation Environment for New Applications Design and Development), a projects that aims to improve the accessibility of software development products, by introducing a harmonized accessibility methodology into the software design and development processes, using significantly better measurement strategies and methodologies.

I love photography, travel, read, music and cinema. In my free time, besides those thinks I already mentioned, I like to play all kinds of sports, cooking and hanging out with my family and friends.
