Nailah Johnson

Houston, TX

Nailah was born and raised in sunny California as the youngest of four. She graduated from Cathedral City High School in Palm Springs, California in 2009 with an almost perfect 4.0 GPA. She attended Texas Southern University that same year on a full ride scholarship for the Women’s Soccer team. After four years, she will be graduating from Texas Southern University with honors, spring of 2013, with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Radio/Television/Film.

As an aspiring screen writer and a free lance photographer, one of her many goals in life is to keep working in the film industry. Nailah recently wrote and co-edited a hit short film musical called, "Something Different."

Nailah dedicated her life to sports growing up, but now that her athletic career is over, she uses her athletic background to coach volleyball to young girls for the Cy-Fair Sports Association (CFSA).

With her being a hard worker and a perfectionist, she is dependable and she does everything in a structured and timely mannor.

She always strives to live up to her Zulu birth name, "Nailah" which means, "The one who will succeed."
