Nancy Bohl

Well regarded for her work in trauma recovery and mental health counseling for emergency services professionals, Dr. Nancy Boh currently oversees The Counseling Team International, which she established in 1985. Dr. Bohl and the other mental health professionals and therapists partner with companies to prepare them for preventing various critical incidents, and they provide support should such a situation occur. In addition, Dr. Nancy Bohl works with employees and those closest to them to overcome issues such as depression, personal relationship stresses, alcoholism and other addictions, excessive anxiety, and concerns regarding financial stability or retirement. Based in San Bernardino, California, The Counseling Team International maintains offices throughout the southern part of the state, including in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Diego Counties.

Beyond her obligations as a business leader, Dr. Nancy Bohl directs employee support services for San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and trains other professionals at Critical Incident Stress Management and Employee Support Services. She also provides classroom instruction through a number of law enforcement agencies and educational institutions, including the Riverside County Sheriff's Academy of Justice, Crafton Hills College, San Bernardino Valley College, and Riverside City Junior College. Dr. Bohl has attained professional certifications from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Law Enforcement Institute, and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Nancy Bohl has drawn on this training and experience to provide services in the wake of several prominent incidents, including the Los Angeles riots of the early 1990s, the crash of TWA Flight 800, and the shootings at Columbine High School in 1999. She also possesses experience with natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, and wildfires. Dr. Bohl holds a BA and an MA from California State University, San Bernardino; and a PhD from California Graduate Institute.
