Nancy Jardine is an ex-teacher, part-time author, part-time official grandchildminder, who lives in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, UK. She loves the thrill of seeing words appear on a page which turn into a published book. Her writing encompasses some historically-based non- fiction projects, as well as fiction.
She writes contemporary romance mysteries; historical romantic adventures and historical time travel adventure for a middle grade/YA market. She is published by Crooked Cat Books.
Her contemporary mystery, TOPAZ EYES, was a finalist for THE PEOPLE'S BOOK PRIZE 2014. Book 2 of her CELTIC FERVOUR SERIES, AFTER WHORL: BRAN REBORN, was in the long list for THE WALTER SCOTT PRIZE FOR HISTORICAL FICTION 2014.
Her Celtic Fervour Series of Historical Romantic Adventures now has 3 published books, and she's currently writing a fourth. She's also started a three book family saga set mainly in Scotland, starting in 1840. The Taexali Game - the first book of The Rubidium Time Travel Adventures - gained 2nd place in the SAW Barbara Hammond Trophy for Best Self Published Book 2017.
