Author-Con is an event, like ComicCon, that will bring world-wide authors and their readers together under one roof! Authors from all of the main genres of literature are invited to come showcase their masterpieces and be recognized as they ought to be! Fans of books and reading will swarm to this event to meet, hear from, and shake the hand of the authors that helped raise them! New readers and writers will grow in excitement for books! They will ensure a future of ongoing ideas and expression that will strengthen our free society and shape the next generation.

Author-Con will provide an opportunity for authors to promote and sell their books, share their personal stories, meet their fans, answer questions, and gain inspiration from other authors. It is a place of book signings, public appearances, author panels, discovery of new authors, prizes, concessions, and photo opportunities!

I often get personal letters about Chip's biography. Here are some reviews from readers on Amazon:

I started out exploring history of the OTO and Dick Randall for our BSA Mountain Valley District Spring camp. This book about the Yellowstone Chip added great depth to the story of this amazing old dude ranch, and to the story of the settling of Montana. Thanks!

Wonderful informative book, well written and man historical pictures. The accompanying CD by special order is a must have.
We hope Nan produces more books of this historical importance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun trip back to a bygone era
By Jennifer
A great read about a fun character, Yellowstone Chip. Truly brings to life the days of a bygone era: farm life for a young boy in a small town in Illinois; the hardships and pleasures of venturing West and homesteading in Montana; and the very early days of Yellowstone National Park. Chip did it all and fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming a real western cowboy. Along the way are some great tales.
