Natalie Walker

I am a grade 5 teacher at an amazing little school in Mississauga. Everyday I look for new ways to inspire and engage my students in order to help them on their journey to become good citizens! I am passionate about what I do and am excited to be on my own learning adventure with my students!

I feel very lucky to have found this profession as every day is different, every day is fun, and every day is exciting. For sure there are challenges but seeing the impact that caring about a kid makes is what drives me. To remember they played in a hockey tournament that weekend and to ask them about it makes all the difference.

So the challenge is combining that human side of education with the active and successful use of technology. I think it's easier than we may think - kids already do it! I can't wait to learn from them as we do this together!
