I have recently started working as a research associate in statistics for volcanic ash hazards. This post is part of the Robust Assessment and Communication of Environmental Risk (RACER) project. The focus of the part of the project that I am working on will be to develop new quantitative methods for forecasts of volcanic ash hazards.
