Natasha Samuels is a native of Manchester, Jamaica and has been a resident of Connecticut since 1980. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in information management and technology from Syracuse University and a certificate of legal studies from the University of Hartford.

She is the intellectual property manager for a university in New Haven, CT. She also publishes onewomansstyle.com and natashaexploresworld.com. She was also the publisher of U.E. magazine an urban arts and entertainment publication which was circulated throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts from 1999 to 2001.
