Hi. A 20 year career in academic research science has been highly influential on my current interest of communicating knowledge derived from science. It has made me consider the role of research science in the lives of the broader public, in particular highlighting how science itself is conducted, funded and who it really benefits. I combine this with training in graphic design to communicate meaning in intuitive ways, be it technical material or emotional. I see transfer of knowledge as being of pivotal value to humankind, and have a strong desire to leave the world a better place for my children.
