Neal Carlino

A former student of computer science at Brooklyn College, Neal Carlino honed his expertise in information technology through his studies and professional experience. He specializes in request for proposal (RFP) creation, negotiation, and vendor management; data storage; network architecture with all major vendors; and fabric design and optimization. Neal Carlino is also familiar with Information Lifecycle Management strategies, data migration and archival methods, and backup processes. For server rationalization, Carlino employs industry best practices, including consolidation and virtualization. In addition to his technical expertise, he has experience leading teams of engineers through full life cycle projects.

Currently, Neal Carlino is the owner of NetSync Systems Inc., based in New York City, where he and his team create and deliver effective and efficient information technology systems. Using a diagnosis and prescription method, the company examines clients' current systems, detects problems, and provides analysis. It then works with the client to design a transformation plan and provide guidance to aid in the implementation of the new strategy..

Prior to his work at NetSync, Neal Carlino spent four years with Deutsche Bank, leading server utility evaluations as a member of the information management engineering department and managing a team responsible for Wintel infrastructure and server engineering.

Neal Carlino gained additional experience during his tenure with Lehman Brothers, where he was the Lead Member of a global Active Directory design team responsible for designing a domain structure and handling LDAP integration to meet company standards. He also provided oversight to the global NT file and application server consolidation effort.

In his free time, Neal Carlino enjoys being active and getting out of the city to go camping, boating, and skiing. He is also a supporter of the Boy Scouts of America.
