I'm a freelance tech journalist specializing in computer hardware and other gadgets. I worked at Maximum PC from 2007 to 2012 before relocating to Texas. I contribute to The Wirecutter, Tested, and Maximum PC.

My work has also appeared in PCWorld, MacWorld, PC Gamer, GamesRadar, @Gamer, Official Xbox Magazine, and HotHardware, among others. I received my BSJ from Medill in 2007.

In my spare time I enjoy running, creative writing, tabletop and computer games, and coffee. I'm the oldest of seven troublemakers from Saxonburg, Pennsylvania. I live in Texas with my wife, who is a scientist.
