Neela Seenandan

Human resources executive Neela Seenandan is the former global head of HR at Aon Corporation. The British multinational corporation offers risk management, insurance brokerage, and HR solutions. When Aon acquired Benfield in 2008, she led the HR integration strategy for the newly formed Aon Benfield, which included some 3,400 employees globally. Neela Seenandan also served as the vice president of executive talent acquisition and recruited a number of senior executives to Aon.

Before joining Aon Corporation, Neela Seenandan spent eight years as an executive with McKinsey & Company in Chicago. She led the company’s business technology office (BTO), which served as the official technology strategy practice of McKinsey. In addition to managing all BTO campuses and hires, she built out all training, staffing, and compensation activities. Upon leaving McKinsey in 2007, she had hired and trained more than 100 consultants across BTOs in Chicago, Atlanta, and Canada.

Today, Neela Seenandan is a managing partner and co-chief executive officer at Hanold Associates. In her leadership role with the Chicago-based retained executive search firm, she concentrates primarily on senior-level HR leadership and professional services assignments. Together with fellow members of the Hanold Associates executive team, she uses the art and science of executive search to find highly qualified candidates and place them with clients across the globe.

Neela Seenandan possesses a BA in English literature from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in the UK. Early in her career, she worked as an executive search and selection consultant with Nicholson International in Prague.
