Nelson Deedle

As the proprietor of Iconographs, Inc., Nelson Deedle has combined business with his passion for memorabilia since 1996. One of the world's top experts in pop culture collectibles, Deedle discovered his interest in the area when he was 11. Since then, he has taken thousands of pictures with notables, functioned as an archivist for the Elliott Roosevelt estate, and served as an advisor to celebrities and billionaires looking to buy historic items. The seller of objects ranging from props from Gone with the Wind to pieces from the signers of the Declaration of Independence, Nelson Deedle has traveled to 35 countries to scour archives and locate lost items.

However, Nelson Deedle has received the most attention for his understanding of autographs. Authenticating signatures since 1989, he possesses over 100,000 autographs that are collectively worth millions of dollars. Moreover, he is skilled at recognizing forgeries. Recently, someone wanting to validate a signed Beatles record sought his guidance. In addition to determining that the signatures were forgeries, Deedle also identified who supplied the fake marks.

During his spare time, Deedle participates in philanthropy. By joining with Dame Elizabeth Taylor, he developed an AIDS awareness campaign targeted toward youths. Along with donating to various charities, Nelson Deedle mentored celebrities on raising money for nonprofit organizations, gave items to charity auctions, and supported handicapped and disabled children throughout Scottsdale, Arizona.

Before starting his career, Nelson Deedle enrolled at Richmond College in England. After transferring to the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication at Arizona State University, he majored in Communications and minored in Business.
