Nelson D. Zivic joined Newell Rubbermaid in November 2014 as the Head of Human Resources for the entire Latin America region, providing strategic support and leadership.

Prior to this role he was most recently the HR Latin America Leader for Dell. He started with Dell in 2008 as an MBA intern where he was awarded the Thurmond Woodard UNCF Corporate Scholarship for outstanding project management performance. After earning his MBA from BYU - Marriott School in 2009 as a Cardon International Scholar, Nelson returned to Dell as a full-time employee and became the first Latin American participant of the Dell HR Leadership Rotation Program.

Before earning his MBA, Nelson earned a Law Degree from the University of Morón in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and spent more than seven years working as a Professional HR Consultant and Labor Attorney at a consulting firm in Argentina.

He is a keynote speaker and presenter for various organizations in the subjects of Human Capital, Leadership and Coaching and has been collaborating with the Human Resources Certification Institute as an Expertise Panel Advisor, responsible for writing, designing and reviewing exam content for the GPHR, HRBP and HRMP global certifications. He is also a Scholarship Application Reviewer for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute

Nelson enjoys sports, reading, serving in his church (LDS), and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Lorena, have four children and are currently living in Santa Fe, Mexico City.
