Nerea García is a journalist and cultural manager. Since 2007, she is the Communications Director of Medialab-Prado in Madrid, the digital culture and social innovation center of Madrid. She has organized and collaborated with Super 8 short film festivals in Madrid and Greece, and worked at the Cultural Department of Instituto Cervantes NY, the Spanish Cultural Center in New York.

She has been an editor of culture magazines and newspapers in Spain and Latin America and has been a panelist in many festivals and encounters around digital communication in Europe.

Currently she is based between Madrid and New York, where she has and collaborated with Eyebeam, the leading not-for-profit art and technology center in the US, and TheLineBtwn, a company that provides assistance to cultural and creative industries in developing digital communication strategies.
