Nestor Estrada

Nestor Estrada is a Composer/Songwriter, Arranger, Orchestrator, and Musician.

If you have big dreams, are daring, and wanting to change the industry with a bang of your creativity, Nestor want to work with you. He finds that working with people who think outside the box, takes risks, and are passionate in what they do, is such a rewarding experience. The positive energies felt in turn inspire him as well. The end result is music that is pleasing to the ears, but most importantly, works with your project.

He's interest in media composing began at a young age. Video game music was the first media outlet that inspired him to be involved in music. From video game music, Nestor's interest also led him to film soundtracks. John Williams was the first composer that really stuck out to him. Nestor felt that video game music needed to have more orchestral music in order to better express what was happening on screen, much like film music. Composers such as Jeremy Soule and Gerard Marino have deeply influenced Nestor musically, and in terms of what they were able to accomplish for video game music today.

Nestor currently got a Bacholors of Music at California State University, Northridge for Commercial and Media Writing (film scoring). He had the opportunity to work with talented individuals that he met during school. Nestor also had some of his concert pieces performed live in both CSUN and his community college. He's also done a number of student projects for the film and animation department at CSUN.

Nestor has played with several bands/groups for the past 8 years as a lead guitarist/backup vocalist. There are a few demos/cds from previous bands he's played with that you can find on the Internet.

Currently, Nestor is working for NyTeck Games to create music for their video game "Nexless".
