I'm a busy journalist primarily working in print and online. My writing and editing have appeared in national magazines including Southern Living, Coastal Living and This Old House, the regional business publication Southern Automotive Alliance magazine, and in local newspapers, the Birmingham Post-Herald, Weld: Birmingham's Newspaper, and the Birmingham Times.
I wrote the 2014 book Birmingham Foot Soldiers: Voices from the Civil Rights Movement. I also teach journalism and media courses, and consult in public relations and social media.
