Why, hello there. I am a web/graphic designer located in the 'burbs' of Denver, CO. Web Design is my preferred medium, but I've also been known to kick it on paper every now and then. Fantastic design inspires me, but I also find beauty in well written HTML & CSS. Over the past few years I've become quite fascinated with how users interact with designs and interfaces. UI/UX design seems to be my design passion and where I am the happiest.
Optimism guides my life and I like to follow my instincts. My goal in life is to have enough stories to write a book, even if I never actually get around to writing it. In addition to web design, I've spent time as a white water guide, professional photographer, and ice hockey referee. I have lived in my tent/car for about 6 months and I have traveled quite a bit within the states. So I feel like I've got quite a few chapters written already.
I was born and raised in the steel town of Bethlehem, PA. After graduating from Kutztown University with a BFA in Communication Design, I packed up my car and moved to Colorado in search of high peaks, deep powder & raging rivers. Colorado has treated me well and I don't have any intentions of leaving.
During the week, if I'm not heads down in an Adobe product or writing code in Textmate, you can probably find me reading CSS-Tricks, or killing time on Twitter & Facebook. On the weekends, I like to disconnect through snowboarding, climbing, rafting, biking, & skateboarding. In addition, I'm an avid music lover/seeker and a craft beer snob who just started home brewing.
I also own over 250 Pez Dispensers... not sayin, just sayin.
