Nicole Hyland

I am a New York lawyer focusing on legal ethics and professional responsibility at Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz. Lawyers come to me when they need help with a complicated ethical problem or they are facing a disciplinary charge or malpractice claim. I also represent entertainment industry clients in business disputes and intellectual property litigation. I know that being involved in litigation can be daunting, and I try to offer my clients empathy as well as legal guidance.

I serve as Chair of the Professional Ethics Committee of the New York City Bar Association. I was recognized by Super Lawyers as a rising star for 2013.

I live in New Jersey with my life partner, two cats, and an interminable commute to Madison Avenue. My extended family lives in Australia, where I was born, and I miss them a lot.
