Nicole Pottier : She was born in France, she lives in Normandy. She studied foreign languages and literature. She's very fond of travelling, photographing and writing poetry. She's member of the board of "Haiku review", in the Romanian Society of Haiku (Bucharest).

She publishes poetry, essays in literary magazines, photos on the National Geographic's site. She translates works from authors both classical and contemporary. Her haiku poems and haiga (photo-poems) regularly appear in many languages in reviews like Haiku, Albatros (Romania), Haiku Canada (Canada), Ploc!, Haikouest (France), Diogen Pro Kultura ( Croatia), World Haiku Association (Japan). In 2014, she won the First Prize in the international Haiku Foundation Contest (USA) for her haiku in English in the traditional category, and a third prize in the 19th international contest "Kusamakura" (Japan). In 2016, she won an honourable mention in the 20th international haiku contest "Mainichi" (Japan).

Nicole Pottier est française, elle vit en Normandie. Elle a étudié les langues étrangères et la littérature. Elle aime les voyages, la photographie et la poésie. On peut voir ses photos sur le site de la revue National Geographic. Elle traduit de nombreux auteurs classiques et contemporains. Elle est membre de la Société Roumaine de Haiku (Bucarest) et fait partie du comité éditorial de la revue Haiku éditée par cette même Société.

Elle publie des poèmes, des essais, des photo-reportages. Ses haikus et haigas en plusieurs langues paraissent dans les revues Haiku et Albatros (Roumanie), Haiku Canada (Canada), Ploc!, Haikouest (France), Diogen Pro Kultura (Croatie), World Haiku Association (Japon). En 2014, elle a remporté le premier prix au concours international organisé par la Haiku Fondation en 2014 (USA) et a été distinguée par un troisième prix au 19ème concours international "Kusamakura" au Japon. En 2016, elle a remporté une mention honorable (3ème prix) au 20ème concours international "Mainichi" au Japon.
