I've been building products and businesses on the internet for as long as there's been an internet. These days I'm most interested in the intersection of innovation and social impact, and how to use the endlessly emerging powers of technology to make the world *better.* I get to spend a lot of time exploring that topic, as a consultant to projects and organizations focused on tech ethics, and through my work as a TechStars mentor and nonprofit advisor. I also talk about it a lot, both formally at events like SXSW, Social Media Week, Digital Hollywood and the Digital Innovation Summit as well as informally, to anyone who will listen.
