Hi! I'm Nicole!

I'm currently studying computer science at University of Auckland. I'm an event organiser and marketing lead at impactNPO, helping charities build IT solutions for social impact via community hackathons.

Previously I've worked at PwC in financial assurance and digital consulting before venturing on a career change and leaping into the IT industry. I also co-founded a tech startup, Memribox, focusing on digital storytelling.

I've been involved with startups, social innovation projects, connected to numerous local communities and loves interacting with people in the digital and design space.

I like to think outside the square, collaborating with passionate people and exploring new opportunities & possibilities to solve problems & create value. I believe innovation happens at the intersection of mindsets and disciplines, through creative and analytical lenses, and that the best solutions come through collaboration, co-creation and thinking differently.

Eternally curious, forever dreamer, consistently a doer. I'm always keen to enrich my understanding of people and loves to learn about the world - it's a lifelong journey that will never cease.

I have a broad range of attributes and skills and many interests, including technology, marketing, entrepreneurship, digital media, and UX. I'm an avid follower of design thinking, thought leadership, technology and the startup scene. I'm also very passionate about social causes, especially in helping youth reach their potentials. #bethefuture

In my spare time, I love listening to music (and singing!). I really appreciate art, culture and design. I'm learner of languages and is fluent in Chinese and currently studying Japanese and Spanish. I love watching football & tennis, as well as reading up on all things technology.

Please feel free to get in touch with me via LinkedIn or Twitter. I'm friendly & open to conversations. Let's talk! :)
