I gave up work over a decade ago to be a stay at home mother. During that time interior design has become a passion and i am currently studying to get a formal interior design qualification after always being the go-to for friends and family on advice for the home and being told numerous times that i should go for it.

My four children are my world, but as my youngest twin girls start nursery i am more than ready to get back into the work force as a more confident and focused woman than i was before children.

I am a very creative peron and i love to crochet and weave. I also keep a creative journal and scrapbook in the project life form. I often make things for the home which i sell at local craft fairs. I also love travelling and exploring new places and all of my hobbies have lead me into becoming more interested in photography.

I have started a blog called http://www.featherandthorn.co.uk which is a lifestyle blog with a focus on interior design. It will include all my latest projects plus posts on food, fashion and parenting.
