Niko Yu is a Korean DJ/Producer from Copenhagen, Denmark.

Niko fell in love with music at an early age; by the time he was thirteen he had bought his first DJ equipment and had started practicing daily at home. It wasn’t long before Niko was DJ´ing friend’s house parties and at sixteen years old got his first job as a club DJ.

Now immersing himself into the art of turntablism and gaining interest in production, soon after bought his first Akai MPC.

Now twenty years on he shows no sign of slowing down!

Niko is now the official tour DJ for New York-based rapper Afu-Ra (Gangstarr Foundation) and has a long list of support acts with and for, international established hiphop artists including The Outlawz, Nipsey Hussle, The Game, Jeru The Damaja, The Beatnuts, B-Real (Cypress Hill), Xzibit and rap legend Big Daddy Kane just to name a few.

He has also been working with the Danish rap pioneer DeePee (Rockers By Choice), Pat B & Meller, Cas (KBH Kartel), Marc KD, Komplot and numerous other Danish artists.

Niko is also one half of the rap duo "Alliancen" (The Alliance) with rapper Patrick Chan. They released their debut album "I Love Alliancen" in 2005, which was re-released in Japan in 2010.

He has transitioned from being known only as a hiphop DJ into playing “open format” and gets the party going by switching up genres, and serving the crowd anything from 90’s urban classics, funky mash-ups, chilled out grooves to the latest Top 40 dancefloor tunes.

He is known for being able to “read” and adapt to the crowd, and this is the reason he earns his place as the supporting DJ at live shows and is prolific playing sets at clubs around the world.

Niko is currently based in Cambodia, where he is working fulltime DJ´ing around the country, and collaborating with different artists both as a DJ and a producer with his team “Kreative Kingz”
