I'm Executive Producer of Audio at Vox Media.
I publish the women-of-color-centered newsletter Talk Story. (You should subscribe! Everyone's invited.)
I'm a mentor for the Third Coast International Audio Festival's Radio Residency.
Previously:
I was Senior Producer / Digital at Marketplace, the most widely broadcast business/economic program in the U.S.
Before that, I led digital strategy for the Peabody Award-winning independent producer Youth Radio, working with partner institutions like NPR and Stitcher. In past roles as Youth Radio's News Director and Senior Producer, I produced narrative stories with young reporters and was a co-developer of the music podcast hub AllDayPlay.fm and the tech culture site Turnstyle News.
For more than a decade, I edited breaking news at San Francisco's CBS Radio affiliate.
I got my start in radio as producer of the seminal hip hop public affairs show, "Street Knowledge," on KMEL FM.
My reporting for print and radio outlets has focused on technology, hip hop, SF Bay Area innovators, and emerging cultures from Kabul to Cape Town.
