Noelle Thurlow

Noelle Thurlow has 20 years experience inspiring personal growth, building understanding between people and promoting positive social change through outdoor, experiential challenge programs, primarily for Outward Bound. She has expertise in designing programs for specific populations including adolescents, urban youth, students with learning differences, single-gender girls groups, women and families. Noelle has also developed domestic and international programs focusing on cross-cultural exchange. Noelle is a network weaver. Her social media work is an extension of her work in outdoor education. She connects people through interactive web platforms to foster the growth of global networks which focus on positive social change. Noelle empowers these networks through a variety of social media tools as well as training workshops which incorporate team building and community organizing strategy. Noelle has developed, designed, and implemented social media strategy for domestic and international non-profits. She has specific expertise in wiki-based knowledge management systems including content creation, evangelizing, user training, wiki management and wiki community "weaving".
