I am an Agronomist and a GIS consultant.

As a traveler these were my major road trip adventures:

(2017) India - 2 months exploring the south and north of the country while driving different motorcycles. Total of 2300 kms.

(2016) Southern Africa - 1 month exploring the beautiful wildlife of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana, while driving a small campervan. Total of 5500 kms.

(2015) Vietnam and Cambodia – 3 weeks to tour the region. I bought a small Honda Win 100 in Saigon, did 2600 kms and probably more than 600 were on non-paved roads. Crossed the Cardamom forest alone during a storm!

(2013) São Tomé and Príncipe – 2 weeks to discover both islands. Around 300 kms covered on motorcycle on paved and non-paved roads.

(2011) Europe by motorcycle – near 7000 kms mainly along the Atlantic coast and Mediterranean.

(2009) Brazil by motorcycle – near 14000 kms crossing 22 of the 27 Brazilian states, including 1000 of dirt track to reach the Amazon river. I personally prepared and shipped the bike from Portugal to Brazil and back in the end of the journey.

(2007) Morocco – road trip reaching the Sahara desert in Erg Chebbi.

(2006) First Europe by motorcycle – around 4500 kms, crossing the Pyrenees from the Mediterranean till the Atlantic and visiting the Picos de Europa.

I never had major issues in my travels, I always take equipment and proper tools and I'm a do-it-all kind of person, a bit mechanic, a bit photographer, a bit writer, but specially relaxed and focused on those difficult moments we face while traveling, good with people and at motivating them, and resourceful in the outdoors.
