Nikos Vergos graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Doctorate in Physics, specializing in theoretical and computational magnetohydrodynamics in the context of frontier plasma physics and nuclear fusion research. He has a long experience teaching physics, mathematics and engineering courses both in the classroom and the laboratory.
Additionally, he has experience working with quantitative and computational modeling of thermonuclear plasmas. The combination of those skill sets make him capable of analyzing large data sets and successfully conveying these ideas to a broad range of audiences.
He is an avid perpetual learner, and he has also completed a bootcamp course in Data Science and Machine Learning, organized by General Assembly.
