Olga Lazitski
Moscow, Russia.
I am an international journalist, media researcher, and a Ph.D. candidate at the UCSD Department of Communication. Based on my broad journalism experience working in the Far East of Russia, Siberia, Moscow, and Boston, I have developed the concept of media endarkenment, which I consider to be the process of media influence counter to enlightenment or the preparatory step for the efficient functioning of propaganda methods. I see my mission as being to pull back the veil of media endarkenment in order to allow enlightenment to flourish in media all over the world.
