Born in Ireland, living in Paris, I work as a broadcast journalist for France 24 and I have also been published in The Guardian, Irish Left Review and The Millions. I also contribute to several blogs including my own France 24 Culture blog, Where's Grandad? and Straight off the Beach. In addition to this, I work occasionally as a French-to-English translator on mainly cultural and journalistic texts. My areas of expertise are cinema, literature, general culture and football and I am always open to offers of paid work.
