Omar Drake

Poconos, PA

Omar Drake graduated from Full Sail University as an aspiring writer of fiction across a multitude of genres and mediums. Whether it is a comic script, a video game design proposal, the first in a series of novels, a short film script, or an emotionally charged poem, he seeks to tell stories that people will want to retell again and again. In his life he has worn many hats, including, but not limited to: punk rock show promoter, taxicab driver, construction worker, tour guide, ski lift mechanic, professional snowmobiler, bouncer, prep cook, and more. With this diverse life experience his ability to relate believable tales and provide a plethora of voices and perspectives is like no other. Perhaps the most challenging hat to fit onto his over-sized noggin is the hat labeled ‘father’.

Omar lives in the Poconos with his wife, twin boys, three cats, one dog, and the occasional visiting opossum. In his spare time, he reads, plays and designs video games, and takes long walks in the woods. He also spends a ‘healthy’ amount of time reading manga and watching anime. He got his letterman jacket back in high school for Scholastic Scrimmage, which is like ‘Jeopardy!’ only the answers don’t need to be in the form of a question.

Also, if anyone wants to help me patent a design for a fuel-less lighter, drop me a line.
