Hi there. My name is Lauren. I've been curating bits of the internet since I was in elementary school. I was the original owner of the email address dragonmaster@hotmail.com. Don't be too jealous.

I always wanted to be a writer, but somehow ended up with a PR degree. Because I am one of those people who fears public speaking more than death, I've always enjoyed communicating with people online.

For four years I worked for one of Canada's oldest archival institutions. I helped to put old stuff on the internet and connect people with the province's past. In addition to the Nova Scotia Archives, I'm now helping 27 museums and many diverse cultural offices serve their online communities better.

Outside of my 9 to 5 I am a freelance writer, blogger, volunteer, and supporter of things that are good and fun. You can often find me behind them behind the popcorn machine at Carbon Arc Cinema.
