Osman Kalkavan

I'm a designer with high amounts of exposure to print production, identity and branding. Sidetracked into motion graphics & effects on the way and enjoying every moment of it.

While strange (and I admit, uncanny), design -in any form or shape- has allured me since the time I was allowed to have opinions. The geometry, shape and (mostly lack-of) symmetry in anything I've interacted with has awed and inspired me to this day.

Which in turn, led me to photography. As an avid fan of Nikon and Nikkor I've had great fun re-exploring environments I was accustomed to, while making sure not to neglect flaming online boards with biased opinions on the matter of brands in photography.

Currently I reside in the suffocating environment of Istanbul, trying to figure out how I ended up in bed with motion graphics. A few suspicious after work drinks with Adobe related products and an impossible to satisfy hunger for new technology -be it software or hardware related- are, of course, the usual suspects.

I would be very interested in getting to know professionals in the creative field all around the world and have insight on how things click in different cultures.
