Jamie Krug

Jamie Krug is a writer, wife, and stay-at-home-mom with a full-time job as the CMO (Chief Medical Officer) of her family. She is is mother to an inquisitive daughter, Parker; and the mischievous-grinned Owen.

She is also a Regular Contributor on The Huffington Post and Dot Complicated, among other sites. She has also written for Scary Mommy, BonBon Break, iVillage Australia and POPSUGAR Moms. Jamie recently saw a dream realized, becoming a published author in the anthology The HerStories Project and is currently working on a memoir. Jamie was recently honored to be named as one of BlogHer's 2014 Voices of the Year.

Her blog www.JamieKrugAuthor.com tells the story of her family’s day-to-day struggles and triumphs in the wake of the devastating and still largely misunderstood rare diagnosis her son received at birth.

She prides (embarrasses?) herself by stating out loud what other mothers may feel but wouldn’t dare say…
