Ovetta Sampson

I wear many hats and have varied interests. And I do almost everything. Well, except dishes. I hate washing dishes.

My day job is a Web Content Guru at DePaul University.

My night job is a kick-butt book editor.

My in-between job is triathlon training.

And I'm also the Co-Founder of World Media Now, an online publication which features original, contextual content from indigenous journalists to help others affect change in the world.

Our news comes directly from the source and we deliver it to you in a personalized way. We provide the world at your fingertips!

An award-winning journalist, I am a writer, editor and photographer who has traveled to more than 30 countries. I love food, wine and song and a little God action hasn't hurt either. And when I'm not working I'm doing triathlons or having a blast riding this one-time merry-go-round called life.

P.S. in case you can't tell from the photo to the right I AM AN IRONMAN!!! Not shouting that's what they say when you cross the finish line of the 2.4 mile swim, 112-mile bike, 26.2 mile run triathlon race. Woo hoo!
