Ovie Ukiri

Ovie Ukiri is a supervising managing partner with Ajumogobia & Okeke, Barristers and Solicitors based out of Lagos, Nigeria. He has served in this position for nearly 15 years, operating as the organization’s head of corporate commercial law and overseeing the taxation, oil, and gas departments. Ovie Ukiri earned a bachelor’s degree in social science—specializing in law and economics—at the University of Keele before pursuing his law degree at London’s Kings College.

Outside of work, Mr. Ukiri is involved with a number of community organizations, including the Lagos preschool The Learning Place. He serves on the school’s board of trustees. He is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and a CEDR-certified mediator. In addition to these organizations, Mr. Ukiri enjoys leading a healthy and active lifestyle, and maintains memberships with the Lagos Polo Club as well as the Lagos Boat Club.
