Owen Fegan

Creative Director at New York Magazine.

Born in Cork, Ireland, he was a founding member of Irish rock band Rubyhorse who moved from Cork, Ireland to Boston, Massachusetts in 1997, signing to Interscope Records and later to Island Records who released the single "Sparkle" which peaked at #21 on the Billboard charts in the summer of 2002.

Following a collaboration with George Harrison on the track "Punchdrunk", appearances on the Late Show with David LettermanLate Night with Conan O'Brien, Good Morning America, as well as international tours with artists as including R.E.M., INXS, and Def Leppard, he finally left Rubyhorse behind, and moved to New York City to pursue a solo musical career, forming WAX Graphics indulge his lifelong passions of art and photography.

In 2004, Owen accepted a position as a Creative Services Designer at SPIN magazine. He was soon promoted to Creative Director, in 2007 moved to Wenner Media where he served as Design Director for Rolling Stone, Us Weekly, and Men's Journal Magazines. In 2011, he accepted the position of Creative Director at New York Media, working on both the company's print and multiple digital properties. 

In addition, he continues working as a photographer, his work appearing in major commercial campaigns, as well as magazines such as SPINRolling StoneBlenderHigh Times, as well as Tom Petty's Runnin' Down A Dream biography alongside Mark Seliger, Annie Leibovitz, and Danny Clinch (who shot Rubyhorse's Rise album cover).

He also continues to work on his forthcoming musical project "vemo".
